This web app is a tool to help teachers with the fiddly and repetative tasks involved in creating 'Daily Reviews' (aka Warm-Ups). This doesn't replace PowerPoint/Google Slides but acts as a starting point to build the basic structure of your deck, filling in the blanks where possible, leaving you with a mostly-complete deck to wrap up in Google Slides or PowerPoint.
Begin by editing your Global Settings in the window on the right. Your Current Phonics Level will inform many of your other sections.
Next drag a Deck Starter or individual sections from the library on the left into your Deck Sequencer in the middle. You can re-order, add to or delete sections to complete your preferred layout.
Next, select a Section in your Deck Sequencer and edit its settings in the window on the right.
Finally, click Assemble Deck (top right). Your instructions will be sent off and your deck will be created. This takes about 20 seconds. You can then open your Deck in Google Slides and save it to your own Google space. Alternatively, you can download a PowerPoint version, if that's your cup of tea.
Use the 'Generic Section' as a placeholder, adding a reminder note that you can later edit in PowerPoint/Google Slides.
Your slide deck will be placed in a shared Google drive. Avoid adding sensitive information to your Deck.
Your Deck will be generated in a shared drive. Ensure your slides do not contain sensitive information.
Loading this Deck Starter will replace all sections currently in your deck sequence.
Your deck Term 1, Week 1 Review is ready for assembly.
